Mr. Yousuf Abdullah holds a Masterʼs degree in Business Administration from the UK. He serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Sapphire Finishing Mills Limited and is also a member of the boards of other Group businesses. He took position of the Director in various Sapphire Group companies in 1995. His vision has been instrumental in introducing new lines within the textile businesses. With considerable experience in sales promotion, he has contributed significantly to building remarkable goodwill for Sapphire products across both local and international markets.

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Mr. Shahid Abdullah has been associated with the Sapphire Group since 1980. As a Director of various Sapphire Group companies, he has been responsible for planning and forecasting both long- and short-term business positions. He introduced new textile business lines, including knitting, cone dyeing, fabric dyeing, and finishing. He has gained considerable experience in spinning, weaving, knitting, dyeing, finishing, and power generation. His expertise also extends to business dealings, particularly the procurement of plant and machinery, raw materials, and other assets. Well-versed in sales promotion, he has successfully built goodwill for Sapphire products in both local and export markets. He holds a Bachelorʼs degree in Commerce from the University of Karachi and serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Sapphire Fibres Limited and Sapphire Electric Company Limited

DIRECTOR
Mr. Nadeem Abdullah is officiating as the Chief Executive Officer of Sapphire Textile Mills Limited for the last 17 years and is also a Director of other Group companies. He graduated from McGill University, Canada, and serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Companyʼs subsidiaries operating in the renewable energy segment. He has contributed to the Companyʼs growth through diversification into valueadded segments, including retail and renewable energy. With extensive experience in business establishment and management, he has led the organisationʼs growth, introduced new product lines, and managed the development of numerous value-added products. His involvement in developing the Groupʼs textile operations has provided him with an in-depth understanding of the business. His expertise spans multiple disciplines, including sales and marketing, supply-chain management, product development, and management.

DIRECTOR
Mr. Shayan Abdullah holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management, with a concentration in Economics and Finance, from the USA. He has also undertaken various professional courses from institutes like London School of Economics and Lahore University of Management Sciences. Before being appointed as a Director of Sapphire Fibres Limited, he worked at executive levels within other Group companies. He oversees raw-material procurement, key textile business and HR in his current portfolio.

DIRECTOR
Mr. Amer Abdullah holds a Masterʼs degree in Business Administration from the USA. He joined the Group at a young age and was appointed as a Director of various Group companies in 1990. He has undertaken several textile expansion projects and diversified the dairy business. He has extensive experience in business dealings, particularly the procurement of plant and machinery, raw materials, and other assets. With rich experience in sales promotion, he has successfully built goodwill for Sapphire products across both domestic and export markets. He serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Diamond Fabrics Limited and Sapphire Dairies (Private) Limited.

DIRECTOR
Mr. Abdul Sattar Arain is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and holds a Masterʼs degree in Commerce. He is also an MBA and a corporate taxation advisor. He has attended numerous professional courses and seminars on various aspects of financial management and planning. He has been associated with the Sapphire Group of companies since 1981 and has served in key managerial positions. Mr. Abdul Sattar Arain currently serves on the Board of Directors of Sapphire Fibres Limited and several other Group companies.

DIRECTOR
Mr. Nadeem has extensive experience in operations, general management, and business development. He is among the co-founders of The Resource Group TRG, a Washington, D.C.-based investment holding company specialising in the global business process outsourcing and IT services sector. TRG employs approximately 15,000 people across five continents. Mr. Nadeem currently serves as the Managing Director and Country Manager for Pakistan at TRG. He was one of the founding members of OPEN, the Organization of Pakistani Entrepreneurs of North America, Washington, D.C. Chapter. He is the immediate past President of the American Business Council of Pakistan. He has also served as Chairman of P SHA, the Pakistan Software Houses Association for IT and ITeS. He is the current President of the Harvard Business School Club of Pakistan, a member of the Corporate Leaders Advisory Board of the Institute of Business Administration IBA, Karachi, and a member of the Board of the Young Presidentsʼ Organization Pakistan Chapter YPO.

INDEPENDENT DIRECTOR
Mr. M. Naeem Khan is an AMP graduate of Harvard Business School, Boston, USA, a Fellow Member of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales. He has experience in all areas of marketing, where he extensively developed retail chains and nurtured commercial customers, in addition to overseeing treasury and accounting functions. He has also worked in the food industry, where he played an instrumental role in developing new, economically viable product lines. He has been an investment banker with extensive exposure to capital markets. He currently serves on the Boards of the Raaziq Group, which is engaged in logistics and public transportation. He has also served on the Boards of Atlas Group. At present, he is a member of the Board of Service Industries Ltd. and Chairman of its Audit Committee. Mr. Khan qualifies as an Independent Director under the guidelines of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan SECP) and the Code of Corporate Governance.

INDEPENDENT DIRECTOR
Dr. Mariam Chughtai is an Assistant Professor and Founding Associate Dean at the LUMS School of Education. She is also a Director of Pakistan Programs at the Mittal South Asia Institute at Harvard University. She holds a Doctorate in Education Ed.D. from Harvard University, specialising in Education Policy, Leadership, and Instructional Practice. She also holds two Masterʼs degrees from Harvard University, in International Education Policy and Management, and a Bachelorʼs degree in Political Science from Rice University. As a teaching fellow, Dr. Chughtai taught several courses at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, in addition to Negotiations at Harvard Law School and Leadership at Harvard Kennedy School. She is now based in Pakistan and is working to reform the book on the politics of policymaking and to break identity through education.
